A smaller version of my First series of mosaics. It's size makes it suitable for a wall, shelf or mantle. I started with a zig zagged but continuous Maple strip of wood and then added more color and texture as the piece developed. I wrapped it in a raw, oxidized frame of poplar wood that I torched and sanded. A beautiful but not-so-random piece of unique art for your home!
